Read it Your Way! With Louie Stowell and Rashmi Sirdeshpande

Join much-loved children’s authors Louie Stowell and Rashmi Sirdeshpande for a fun and interactive celebration of reading in all its forms!
Designed for children aged 7–11 and their parents or carers, this lively event will explore the many ways we enjoy stories – from books and audiobooks to comics, magazines and more.
Hear Louie and Rashmi share the stories and experiences that inspired their love of reading, talk about their own writing, and explore what reading means to them. During a lively Q&A, they’ll also discuss why accessible and inclusive reading matters, and why there’s no single “right” way to be a reader.
Then it’s time to get creative! Each author will lead a short interactive storytelling activity, inviting children and their grown-ups to use their imaginations, explore different perspectives and create stories of their own, with empathy and inclusion at their heart.
The event will end with a book signing, allowing families to meet the authors and have their books personally signed.
Whether you love books, audiobooks, comics or creating your own adventures, come along and discover that stories are everywhere – and reading is for everyone.
