Temporary Downtime

Planned maintenance on our services.

To enhance security and improve your experience, we are making essential upgrades to our authentication and digital systems. 

This means My Calibre, Alexa and our postal service will be temporarily unavailable from 5pm this Wednesday (14th May). We anticipate normal service will resume on Saturday 17th May, with our Alexa skill and our postal service resuming from Monday 19th May.

Our Membership Services team will be unavailable on Monday 19th May for essential training to ensure we can provide you with the best possible support moving forward.

You will still be able to access our collection through Libby, Synapptic, and Dolphin EasyReader.

We won't be accepting new applications during this period.

What you need to do after the upgrade:

• Your password will be reset for security reasons and we recommend that you change it as soon as you can.
• Your new default password will be your surname in lowercase.
• Your membership number will now be prefixed with 'ca' (e.g., ca12345) when using it to login to My Calibre. Your Synapptic, Libby and EasyReader login will still be your membership number without ‘ca’ .
• Alexa users need to disable the skill. To do so, please open the Alexa app. Open More and select Skills & Games. Search for "My Calibre Player" and select it. Select Settings and then press Disable Skill.
