Editorial Department Volunteer

Are you looking for some library experience?

We are looking for a volunteer to work in the Editorial Department on our library management system and to carry out other administrative tasks as required. Ideally, you will have some experience with library databases and an eye for detail. The opportunity would be ideal for anyone looking to get into information sciences, librarianship or publishing, or anyone who has previously worked in a library.

The person specification for this role includes:

• Experience of a library management system (Symphony or similar).

• Good attention to detail.

• Experience in working with Excel spreadsheets.

• Knowledge of or interest in books.

• The ability to volunteer 1 to 2 days a week.
