We have the following vacancies open:
Library Operations Assistant
Location: Aylesbury, HP22 5XQ (Onsite)
Salary: £22,932 per year (£12.60/hr, 35 hours/week)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Closing date: Friday 9th May 2025 at 17:00Join our friendly, purpose-driven team at Calibre Audio and help deliver accessible audiobooks to people with print disabilities. As a Library Operations Assistant, you'll be responsible for preparing and dispatching USB sticks containing audiobooks, managing stock, supporting our volunteer team, and helping maintain smooth daily library operations. You’ll also work closely with our editorial team to prepare book group content and assist with member queries.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. Experience in a library or operations environment is helpful, but not essential.

Location: Remote
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
Overseeing the monitoring of the organisation’s finances on behalf of the Board. A personal connection to the experiences of our members (visual impairment, dyslexia, etc.) is useful, but not essential. Other important skills include the ability to be visionary, think strategically and to influence key stakeholders, both within your sphere of expertise and more broadly. Strong communication skills along with a collaborative approach and a commitment to our aims are also vital.
